Nothing leaves your device.
Local AVIF is a static page. Images you drop or choose are read by
JavaScript in this browser tab and converted with WebAssembly
(libavif via @jsquash/avif, plus the
browser’s own canvas encoder for JPG and PNG).
What we do not do
- No file uploads to a conversion API or our servers.
- No accounts, email capture, or sign-in.
- No advertising networks or analytics cookies for core use.
- No sale of images or metadata.
What this browser may still do
The page itself — HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and the AVIF WASM files — is loaded from whatever host you opened (for example Cloudflare Pages). That host can see a normal page request, not the photos you convert.
Downloaded files are saved through your browser’s usual download prompt, on this device.
